Our heartfelt congratulations to Nancy Morrow, Connectedly’s longtime Strategic Development Specialist. Nancy was awarded the Bright Star of Aging by the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging. She is a tireless advocate in the battle against ageism and gave a passionate speech imploring all to join the fight.
The award was presented during the 42nd annual Emergency Fund Coalition community service awards luncheon. EFC is an alliance of twenty-two organizations that serves older adults in crisis. PCA administers the Emergency Fund on behalf of the coalition and proceeds are directed to meet basic human needs, including home heating bill assistance, food, clothing, and medical supplies.
