The William Penn Foundation hosted the Philadelphia Family Literacy Summit on June 22, 2023. Connectedly’s GrandFamily Educator, Dionne Wright Chambers (far left) presented on a panel of family literacy program staff. Dionne explained her methodology of linking social emotional lessons with literacy for Philly Families Read Together. In attendance were Philly Families Read Together participants and partners who spoke highly of the program and posed insightful questions to the panelists.
